I think the answer to that question would have to be 'YES". Undoubtedly.

I could name a number of a different quotes from musicians that I feel are worthy of both praise and rememberence. I can tell you on a personal note that it is these quotes that help have helped me in my personal endeavours.

"You can't catch love with a net or a gun" - James

"Why do I love when I still feel pain ? When will it end, when is my work done ?" - VNV Nation

"All I want to say is that they don't really care about us !" - MJ

          "Doh !!" - Homer J. Simpson

To Name a few. Maybe you think that there is a difference between lyrics and quotes. I don't though.

      the trap is forgotten.

"The false concept of 'being' acts as a word virus, scrambling our thoughts, for nothing consists of other than what it does. I think, therefore I think that I think, nothing more!'
      -- Peter Carroll, PsyberMagick.

"It seems likely that the principal software used in the human brain consists of words, metaphors, disguised metaphors, and linguistic structures in general. The Sapir-Whorf-Korzybski Hypothesis, in anthropology, holds that a change in language can alter our perception of the cosmos. A revision of language structure, in particular, can alter the brain as dramatically as a psychedelic. In our metaphor, if we change the software, the computer operates in a new way." -- Robert Anton Wilson, "Understanding E-prime"
